Justin graduated from Northern Michigan University in May 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism and a minor in Theatre.
While in school they took an active interest in journalism, working for the student-run newspaper the North Wind. At the North Wind, they were a copy editor, news editor and editor-in-chief. As editor-in-chief, they oversaw the transition to a daily online publication and worked to revamp the website. In addition to their work with the North Wind, they also worked as an anchor with WNMU-TV's Public Eye News and board operator for WNMU-FM Public Radio 90.
Although originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan they have been in the U.P. since 2017 and love the U.P. and Marquette. In their spare time, they enjoy live music, playing with their two cats and collecting rocks on the shoreline. They are excited to be a part of the TV6 family and enjoy calling the U.P. home.
