A woman in Texas convicted of murder was sentenced to death Wednesday after a 25-day hearing.
Taylor Parker, a woman accused of killing an expectant mother Reagan Hancock, 21, and cutting her unborn child out of her body, was found guilty of capital murder Monday.
In opening statements, attorneys with the prosecution said Parker committed the crimes not because she wanted a baby, but because she did not want to lose her boyfriend.
