He’s a graduate of Marshall University and was accepted into the MFA creative writing program at The American University in Washington, D.C. A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured and his horse was killed when their Amish buggy was hit by a tractor-trailer Wednesday morning in Ohio, officials said.
Authorities say a former police officer and firefighter in West Virginia was sentenced to prison for sexually assaulting an underage girl.
Officers said the men were drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana prior to the shooting.
The identities of the victims haven’t been confirmed, but the official said the passengers were not local.
