MACON, Ga. (Gray News) - Authorities said an Amber Alert issued in Georgia for a missing 4-month-old boy has been canceled after the boy was found safe.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said it was reported that Malachi Walker was abducted in Macon around noon Monday by a 13-year-old suspect.

The suspect and child were believed to be traveling in a stolen 2017 silver Honda Accord.

Authorities said the infant was believed to be in extreme danger.

Late Monday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said Malachi, the 13-year-old suspect and the vehicle were found at a hotel in Macon, and that the infant and the 13-year-old were unharmed.

The sheriff’s office said Malachi has been returned to his parents, the stolen vehicle was returned to its owner, and the suspect was taken to a juvenile detention center “for Theft by Taking: Motor Vehicle and Kidnapping.”
