Warming before cold weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Temperatures will rise into the 60s on Wednesday and into the low 70s on Thursday. Skies will stay mostly sunny with clear cool nights. A strong cold front will move into the area late Friday after a few showers and bring a mostly dry but cold weekend. High temperatures Saturday and Sunday will struggle to reach 40 with lows falling to the 20s. There could even be a few snow showers coming in from Lake Michigan but little or no accumulation is expected in our area.
