FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Fort Wayne Police say a 26-year-old man is behind bars preliminarily charged with dealing in marijuana Thursday.
Police say the department’s Gang & Violent Crimes Unit, Vice & Narcotics Unit, and Northwest Patrol Officers conducted surveillance on a home in the 1000 block of St. Marys Avenue that resulted in evidence of drug trafficking. That evidence led to a traffic stop of Marquan Dshawn McGee.
When officers searched the home, after obtaining a search warrant, they found a large amount of marijuana, police say.
The incident is under investigation.
