Lions Opliger leads Leo to regional title victory

PLYMOUTH, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Leo golf won a regional title at The Golf Club at Swan Lake Resort on Thursday afternoon.
The Lions Wes Opliger led the championship effort, shooting a 70 on the day, ultimately, beating Carroll’s Hunter Melton in a playoff for medal honors.
Melton will also advance, individually, to the state finals round.
Warsaw’s Jack Yeager led his Tigers to advance to state.
