Carroll baseball claims sectional title in thrilling walk-off fashion against Snider

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - In thrilling fashion, Carroll claims a Class 4A sectional title, taking down Snider, 7-6, on a bases-loaded passed ball in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Snider came out the gates hot, jumping to a 4-0 lead in the first inning. However, Carroll battled back making one key after another, which helped the Chargers bring home their first sectional title since 2019.
In the end, it was Carroll’s Daniel Kirk who came racing home in the bottom of the seventh with two outs, scoring on a passed ball.
