Leo softball hands Eastside first loss in, 5-0, shutout

LEO-CEDARVILLE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Leo softball (20-1) handed Eastside (19-1) its first loss the season, 5-0, as two of the best high school teams in the state squared off on Friday night.
The Lions Sydney Tackett intregal to Leo’s offense, as she drove a two-rbi double in the second inning.
Leo pitcher Ellie Sauder struck out six batters in five and two-thirds innings of one-hit ball.
