Gigi’s Playhouse partners with local food trucks to serve up lunch
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Gigi’s Playhouse in Fort Wayne is working with local food trucks to serve up lunch once a month in the summer. You can grab a quick bite, listen to music, and play some games in the Gigi’s parking lot where the food trucks will be set up.
Adults with Down Syndrome will be working side-by-side with local chefs to prepare lunches as part of Gigi’s career readiness programs.
Food truck lunches kick off today in the parking lot of Gigi’s (6081 N Clinton St.) from 11 AM- 2 PM.
Here’s what’s ahead for the summer:
May 11th: Watchya Grindin’, The Saucy Zoodle, Cajun Cafe, Travelin’ Toms
June 15th: Wild Woods Grill, Salsa Grill, Street Chef, Travelin’ Toms
July 13th: Street Chef
August 10th: Chow Down, Street Chef, Travelin’ Toms
September 7th: Street Chef, Wicked Good Cupcakes
