FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Fort Wayne Komets rally late but surrender game two, falling to the Wheeling Nailers, 4-2, at Memorial Coliseum Saturday.

Will Graber, the ECHL regular season MVP, found the back of the net in the first period, helping the Komets take an early 1-0 lead.

The Wheeling Nailers didn’t waste anytime responding in the first frame, as Dylan MacPherson locked the game at one all after lighting the lamp.

Adam Brubacher gave the lively Coliseum crowd hope, making it a one goal contest with less than four minutes remaining in the third period.

However, the Nailers sealed the deal with 1:55 to go in the game, taking a 2-0 series lead over the Komets.

The best-of-seven series shifts to West Virginia for game three this upcoming Wednesday.
