Komets down Nailers, 5-0, in regular season finale

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Fort Wayne Komets skated past the Nailers, 5-0, in their regular season finale at War Memorial Coliseum Saturday.
The scoring came early and often, as the K’s netted a shorthanded goal from captain Anthony Petruzzelli in the first period.
A few minutes later, it was Shawn Szydlowski lighting the lamp off the rebound, extending Fort Wayne’s lead.
The Komets will gear up to play the Wheeling Nailers in the first-round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs at home on April, 22nd.
