TinCaps split double-header against Cubs at Parkview Field

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Fort Wayne TinCaps split their second and third home games of the season against the South Bend Cubs on Thursday night’s double-header at Parkview Field.

The TinCaps fell behind, 7-0, in game one before a two-run blast from Jarryd Dale put them on the board.

Fort Wayne responded from a, 7-2, game one loss, flipping the script in a, 6-2, game two victory.

Dale drove in an additional two runs in game two.

TinCaps starting pitcher Robert Gasser fired home nine punch-outs through his four-inning start.
