FWPD: Man found shot to death in church parking lot in The Fort Wednesday night

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Fort Wayne police say they are searching for suspects in the city’s latest fatal shooting after a victim was located in a church parking lot.

Police say that victim was found on the property of the New Covenant Worship Center in the 3400 block of East Paulding Road next to a car.

Investigators say they received a call about a man down around 7:46 p.m. They say the man appeared to have been shot more than once. Medical treatment was provided, but they pronounced him dead. Officers say they’re searching the area and are also looking at surveillance footage for clues.
