Parkview cardiologist joins TODAY to talk heart attack experience
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Parkview cardiologist Dr. William Wilson is joining the TODAY show to talk about the heart attack he suffered four years ago.
February is American Heart Month, a time to put additional emphasis on cardiovascular health. To mark February’s final day, Dr. Wilson is sharing his story and healthy heart tips at 9 a.m. on the TODAY show.
Despite exercising regularly, maintaining a health body weight and not smoking, in 2018 Dr. Wilson became one of the more than 800,000 yearly Americans to have a heart attack.
Eating less red meat and focusing on cardio exercises are among the changes Dr. Wilson has made to prioritize his heart health.
