Fort Wayne TinCaps new manager Esposito speaks on joining Padres organization

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Fort Wayne TinCaps new manager Brian Esposito spoke to Fort Wayne’s NBC on Tuesday, following the first week of his time as a part of the San Diego Padres organization.
Esposito will make the short trip from Indianapolis, IN north to Fort Wayne this spring.
The 42-year-old manager spent four seasons (2018-’21) with the Pittsburgh Pirates Triple-A organization, the Indianapolis Indians and brings nine total years of coaching experience from the Minor League Baseball levels.
Esposito brings perspective as a former player, reaching the Major Leagues in two separate stints, as a catcher in 2007 and 2010.
