Local business bringing family together for the holidays

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - A business in The Fort is bringing people together for the holidays all through charcuterie boards.

“Board and Bond”, owned by Allison Johnson and Danielle Watkins, started the business together after seeing the charcuterie board trends all over social media. They used to make them for fun, but they said why not make a business out of it.

Don’t know what one is? It’s a French term that refers to a plate of assorted foods in a decorative way.

Johnson makes hers with meats, fruits, tacos, candy and more. She says a board is like a canvas where food is the form of art.

Cravings, togetherness and memories... that’s what their business is all about when you sit down at a table and enjoy your board.
