The mother of April Tinsley reflects on the one-year anniversary of the arrest of her daughter’s killer

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - On July 15th, 2018 Janet Tinsley found out police made an arrest in connection to her daughter’s cold case murder after 30 years.

Eventually, justice was served and John D. Miller would receive an 80-year sentence for April Tinsley’s rape and murder.

On July 15, 2019, Fort Wayne’s NBC reporter Kaitlyn Kendall talked with Janet to find out what she would say to Miller a year to the date police arrested him.
