DEATH INVESTIGATION: Two victims found dead in a home

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Two people found dead in a home on the city’s northeast side Saturday afternoon.

Police responded to the 4300 block of Albert Drive in reference to a request to attempt to make contact with people in a home that haven’t been seen or heard from in a few days.

Once officers and family members arrived, they entered the home and found a man and woman unresponsive.

According to paramedics on scene, they pronounced both victims dead.

The Fort Wayne Police Detectives along with crime scene personnel were called to the scene to conduct a death investigation.

Once the Allen County Coroner’s Office conducts an autopsy, the identities of the victims will be released.

At this time, authorities are trying to piece together what exactly happened and the cause of death.

The incident remains under investigation.
